Pavilion will feature products and services that will cater to a health conscious consumer who seeks to embrace choices in life that make them healthier and fit for life. Find out everything you always wanted to know from representatives of foreign countries you have always desired to visit and taste some of their culinary delights as well. Enjoy some of the best wines, beers and spirits from British Columbia and around the world, offered for tasting by the vintners and producers themselves. Mott's will be presenting their Mott's Clamato Caesar School and tastings in an adjoining pavilion near the Grapes & Hops Presentation Stage and Wine, Beer & Spirits Tasting Pavilion. Come for lunch and stay for dinner! Eat in numerous Vancouver restaurants at the same time! WE ARE GREEN AT HEART! We're making every effort to minimize EAT! Vancouver's impact on our environment. The 2011 EAT! Vancouver festival is bullfrogpowered with 100% green electricity. This means that Bullfrog Power will inject carbon-free green power onto the British Columbia electricity grid to match the amount of electricity used by this event. Bullfrog’s green power is sourced exclusively from wind power and low-impact hydro producers who meet or exceed the federal government's EcoLogoM standard for renewable energy. The Vancouver Convention Centre has a living roof, seawater heating and cooling, on-site water treatment and fish habitat built into the foundation of the West Building make it one of the "greenest" convention centres in the world. |
