The Bite of Vancouver Restaurant Pavilion

Western Canada’s largest consumer food event, the Food Network Television sponsored EAT! Vancouver, The Everything Food + Cooking Festival is back again for the sixth time at BC Place Stadium on May 23, 24 & 25, 2008.  Also back is the immensely popular Bite of Vancouver Restaurant Pavilion.

Once again we have located the restaurants and the seating area at the very front entrance of the stadium, so all visitors arriving at the show will be greeted by wonderful smells of cooking, enticing visitors to stop and buy food from the restaurants before venturing into the rest of the big show.

The maximum price per item is $4 and the bite ticket value is 50 cents per ticket, i.e. maximum per item charge will be 8 bite tickets. Also, in addition to serving appetizer size portions of their signature dishes, restaurants may also sell their own  branded take home ready foods, condiments, sauces, etc. (All sales must be conducted through the ‘Bite Ticketing System’.  Cash sales are prohibited.)

The ‘bite’ ticket reimbursement to the restaurants has been increased according to the following scale:
            75% refunded on sales up to $3,000
            85% refunded on sales between $3,001 and $6,000
            90% refunded on all sales over $6,001

The cost of registration is $495 per kiosk for the three days (+ gst).

Vancouver will sizzle with energy, with Food Network Television superstars and well known local chefs on stage; exciting competitions such as Citytv’s Master Chef Competition and The Canadian Barbecue  & Chili Competitions and the BC Chefs’ Association’s Chocolate Competition – EAT!
