Overview:
The Union Gospel Mission is an organization that reaches out with Hope and Compassion. Each year they provide services to hundreds of men, women and children who come to them for assistance.Hope often begins with a meal. UGM is a grassroots local charity supported through the generosity of over 44,000 active donors. UGM does not seek or receive governmental funds for their various programs and services.
As a means of creating further awareness for the plight of the needy, and to raise funds to meet their needs, UGM will partner again with EAT! Vancouver, The Everything Food + Cooking Festival, to present the Bite of Vancouver Restaurant Pavilion on May 23, 24 & 25, 2008, at BC Place Stadium.
