We are pleased to announce that the Tenth Annual EAT! Vancouver Food + Cooking Festival will launch on June 1, 2 + 3, 2012 at it's original home: the recently renovated BC Place Stadium, the home of the BC Lions and Vancouver Whitecaps.

WE ARE GREEN AT HEART! We're making every effort to minimize EAT! Vancouver's impact on our environment. The 2011 EAT! Vancouver festival is bullfrogpowered with 100% green electricity. This means that Bullfrog Power will inject carbon-free green power onto the British Columbia electricity grid to match the amount of electricity used by this event. Bullfrog’s green power is sourced exclusively from wind power and low-impact hydro producers who meet or exceed the federal government's EcoLogoM standard for renewable energy. The Vancouver Convention Centre has a living roof, seawater heating and cooling, on-site water treatment and fish habitat built into the foundation of the West Building make it one of the "greenest" convention centres in the world. |
