Shelome Bouvette

Shelome Bouvette

Aahhh....coconuts and palm trees....sunshine and tropical fruit
umbrella drinks...paradise is not so far away at this westend
hideaway.

Lolita's "South of the Border"Cantina welcomes you away
from the grey, rainy days of Vancouver with a warm, island
holiday vibe. Made to order "real fruit" cocktails, a unique varied beer bottle selection and Vancouver's best Tequila bar make it a destination for tourists and locals alike. Reknown modern mexican fare inspired by westcoast flavours and comfort is the real deal here.

Shelome Bouvettte heads the culinary expositions with beauty, grace and grandeur. Not far from her start, at the youthful age of three, assemblig cakes at her grandparents bakery she continued on to receive a degree in culinary arts (majoring in pastries) .
Coincidence? I think not!
Since, she has cooked, created, and sweated it out with many of the most talented in this industry. Working lenghty stints in some of Vancouver's best landmark restaurants; Bin 942, Allegro, Delilah's etc. to name a few. After a successful run in the cake catering buisness, Shelome was loured away to the glitz and the glamour of "doing it her own way" at Lolita's"South of the Border" Cantina.

This woman has a gift to not only satiate your appetite with flavour but challenges what you thought you knew about Latin dining. Fresh, local ingredients, cutting edge creation and portions that fill your tummy are what this woman does again and again. Who does not love her? Eat well.Be well.Pura Vida.Come have some fun with us at Lolita's.
