The head chef and a partner of Edmonton’s newly minted Café Linnea has always had a love of cooking. From a young age growing up in a very small Scandinavian Community just outside of Edmonton, her heritage has been a constant source of inspiration. Her formative experience was at Duchess Bakeshop, a local much beloved patisserie, and Acme Meat Market, where she learned butchery over a summer. Kelsey and owners Giselle Courteau, Jacob Pelletier and Garner Beggs decided to team up and opened her dream restaurant, serving a contemporary take on brunch and fine dining. Cafe Linnea was recently awarded one of the Top Ten Canada’s Best New Restaurants by Air Canada’s Enroute magazine.
