
Mark Tagulao, founder and culinary director of La Glace, has been scooping his handmade ice cream at some of the city’s most celebrated events since 2014, including Crème de la Crème, Holt Renfrew, Williams-Sonoma and The Granville Social. Since childhood, the kitchen was Mark’s playground where he’d cook with his family, experimenting with all sorts of ingredients and quickly developed a passion for creative baking. After graduating from university, Mark apprenticed with local pastry artists and eventually attended pastry training overseas.
Since then, Mark has consulted for a handful of other successful Vancouver businesses and has also appeared in several Food Network competitions. In 2014, Tagulao won first place in the Food Network’s Donut Showdown.
